powerhouse Yu Ram Cha went undefeated to win the prize.

MEMBER MARKETING
101 ... From "52 Ways to Make Pool Everybody's Game" |
|
TIP № 41 |
|
|
Write a billiard column for
local newspapers to attract new
interest in pool. |
|
 |
|
|
|
STRATEGY: |
|
|
Want to ensure that pool
will always be one of
America’s most popular
activities? It’s
possible, if we promote
pool, and make sure it
stays top-of-mind among
current and potential
players. By writing a
billiard column, you not
only help increase
awareness, but you
establish yourself as an
authority. And that
gives readers a good
reason to visit your
business. |
|
|
|
|
EXECUTION: |
|
-
Contact
the lifestyle and sports
editions of local newspapers
and propose a regular
billiard column.
-
Explain
how a billiard column will
set them apart from other
newspapers and draw new
readers by using statistics
about pool popularity or
demographics on pool
players.
-
Submit
a sample column on any
topic, from the history of
the game to national or
local tournament news or fun
facts about pool.
-
Make
sure that the column is
non-commercial in nature,
but write your business name
in your byline.
