BCA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Candidates Sought for Five Voting Seats
Colorado Springs, Colorado: The Billiard Congress
of America (BCA)
Nominating Committee is seeking qualified candidates who
wish to run for one of five open positions (representing the
Voting category) on the BCA Board of Directors, with four (4) three-year
terms and one (1) two-year term set to begin in April of 2006. Nominations must be
received at the BCA National Office no later than Friday,
February 17, 2006. Formal election ballots will be issued to
BCA voters on March 3, 2006.

BCA members may nominate individuals from within their
membership category only and each candidate must be a member in
good standing with the BCA at the time of nomination and through
the election (self-nomination is permitted). Persons wishing to
put forth a candidate should submit the individual’s name,
company affiliation, contact information and brief, relevant
credentials and qualifications.
BCA board members attend at least four board
meetings per year, serve on BCA committees, set organizational
strategies and represent their respective membership categories.

The 2006 Nominating Committee is chaired by Kathy Vegh (Danny
Vegh's Billiards & Home) and includes Nick Alexander (Clicks
Billiards), Pat Conners (AMF Billiards), Barry Hart (Viking Cue
Mfg, Inc.) and Ivan Lee (Iwan Simonis, Inc.).
As stipulated by BCA Bylaws, only members in good
standing as of January 5, 2006 may vote in the election. Once
the slate is presented, mailed ballots must be submitted for
tally by Friday, March 31, 2006. Ballots may also be
hand-carried and cast at the BCA General Membership Meeting on
Wednesday, April 5 at 5:00 pm, at the George R. Brown Convention
Center in Houston, Texas, where the election results will be
announced.
