areas
s Eliminate the need for
support poles to create wide-open space in the game room.
s Leave room around the pool
table for the enjoyment and safety of players and spectators.
s Provide for adequate wiring
in the ceiling for proper lighting above the table.
s Game room size should be at
least:
13.5’
x 17’ for a 7-foot table
14’
x 18’ for an 8-foot table
14.5’
x 19’ for a 9-foot table
DETERMINE LAYOUT
s Does your client want the
pool table to have a view of the TV or to have it separated?
s Make room to transport the
pool table, and other game room accessories - design wider stairwells and
hallways to eliminate tight turns and the risk of damage.
s Flooring surface DOES NOT
affect leveling the table.
s A game room with a view
needs sun-resistant windows to protect pool table fabric and wood from direct
sunlight.
s Install proper internal
climate control to avoid excessive moisture or dryness
